Doctors
Joe Prichard, DVM is a native of Ellington. Dr. Prichard earned a bachelor of arts degree in zoology from Miami University and a bachelor of science degree in animal science from the University of Connecticut. He also attended post-graduate studies in reproductive physiology at Louisiana State University before attending veterinary school. Dr. Prichard graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993 and practiced both mixed animal and companion animal medicine and surgery in New Hampshire and Massachusetts prior to returning to Ellington in 2000.
Laurie Ann Brown, DVM is an associate veterinarian at the Ellington Center Animal Clinic. Dr. Brown earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Massachusetts prior to earning her veterinary degree from The Ohio State University in 2002. Dr. Brown sees companion animals and has a special interest in exotic pets, including birds and reptiles.
Susan B. Cleary, DVM is an associate veterinarian at the Ellington Center Animal Clinic. Dr. Cleary earned her bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and her veterinary degree from Cornell in 1986. Dr. Cleary sees companion animals and particularly enjoys working with house rabbits and senior cats.
